Precision Body & Paint was delighted to give back to the community by once more sponsoring a cherished cause – the 2014 edition of the Doernbecher Freestyle Event.
This remarkable program provides OHSU Doernbecher patients a unique opportunity to build a shoe that reflects their individual stories and personalities. For the eleventh year six patients partnered up with a Nike designer and developer to design a unique shoe. The proceeds directly benefit the hospital that helped save their lives, funding everything from clinical programs, purchasing state-of-the-art equipment, to providing care for uninsured children.
About this year’s event:
- 600 people were in attendance.
- NBA forward Kevin Durant was on hand to autograph all six designs.
- The event has raised $11 million to date for the hospital.
In addition to helping sponsor the Freestyle Event, the team at Precision Body & Paint also supports Doernbecher throughout the year via employee contributions and an employer matching program. Precision Body & Paint is grateful for the support of our customers, which in turn helps us support special causes like Doernbecher.
